Board of Directors Election Timeline

• May 20:      Applications open for 2025 Board of Directors
• June 7:     Deadline to make application for Board of Director position
• June 11:     Nomination committee meeting
• June 26:   Board of Directors meeting
• June 28:   Association Executive to mail candidates on approved slate and require written confirmation of their acceptance.
• July 12:    Nomination committee will email membership of the proposed candidates to members who can vote.
• July 23:    Additional candidates asking to be placed on the ballot must have petition signatures and turned in.
• August 6:  Annual Meeting/Election
• December 10: Installation of Officers and Directors

This is your opportunity to represent the interests of Southeast Missouri REALTORS® to the Board of Directors. In addition to attending and actively participating in meetings, officers and directors promote the value of REALTORS® and the REALTOR® brand, approve and monitor fiscal and operational policies, and make recommendations to advance the association and the real estate industry.

The annual nomination and election process for the 2025 Officers and Directors for Southeast Missouri REALTORS® is now open! This is an open process and members are encouraged to apply or nominate someone.

Below you find the description of the position, qualifications, and responsibilities for each elected office. A complete application form must be completed on each candidate and submitted to the Nomination Committee by Friday, June 7, 2024 at 5 pm to be eligible for consideration in the nomination process for the 2025 election.
